Vi hadde en gang en tradisjon av uselvisk selvoppofring. Det fantes en gang et stolt folkeferd,med styrke,handlekraft og vilje til å utrette. Et folkeferd som vi er etterkommere av. Men vi har ikke vært i stand til å videreutvikle deres karakteregenskaper. Vi er ikke lenger i stand til å beskytte våre egne. Vi har ikke engang viljen til det.
